Main Museum Floor

 

Featured displays in the museum include a tool collection, railroad lanterns, political buttons, guns, arrowheads, WPA period and ethnic dolls with dioramas of Kansas including Coronado and native American tribes, First Ladies of Kansas dolls from 1861 to 1955, barbed wire, reproduction of a stage coach, original steam engine, thrasher and binder, cornknife shoe, ball and chains (leg irons) from first jails of the area, and the Byron Guise model train collection.

A movie about the Pony Express can also be viewed on the main floor of the museum.
